Youth Work
The 'Base Youth Project' has been running for over 15 Years at Summerhill Community Centre, with young people leading the way.
Our Summerhill Youth Committee is a group of young people aged between 11-25. We plan, organise and deliver a monthly programme of suitable and interesting activities.
Our Youth Workers support and deliver all activities both at the centre and further afield.

We have a bicycle workshop enabling youngsters to recycle and maintain bikes which they can then keep .
Our Youth Committee both help to run the centre and work together with the older members to deliver intergenerational events such as our weekly lunch club; special events and of course our many food projects such as our Food Pantry.
